Baptism

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)

Baptism is the right of every human being to be received into the Body of Christ, the Christian church. We welcome all and any who, in their life’s journey, seek our Triune God.

Although we try to accommodate the travel plans of family members who wish to participate in this most important sacrament of initiation, baptisms will take place during the 10:00 am Mass on Sundays. Baptisms may be scheduled for another time by arrangement with the Pastor.

To schedule an appointment with our baptismal team, please contact the office at 514.457.3896.

In the event of the need for baptism due to severe illness, please contact our pastoral staff. Also, in these instances, your loved one who is to be baptised may also receive Holy Communion immediately afterwards, regardless of the age. Please discuss this with our priest if you think this would apply to your love one’s circumstances.
